So have any RDs heard back yet? Or is it all ED at this point?

No one has heard for sure if they are in or not. It is a mix of ED and RD applicants who are waiting for envelopes this week and next.

I believe they're technically "violet" envelopes, but I could be wrong.

I believe you are right. After all, the NYU "Violets" (the basketball team) just won another game yesterday to remain undefeated. So if they are going by the violets, I would guess that is the hue they use

& no offense taken. I'll check my mail when I leave my dorm at 12, but it's unlikely that there will have been mail by then.

Your mail came before 11:30? Wow. That seems like a bigger story to me. Don't worry, 12/6ers -- I think you'll have a letter before the end of the week.

So no one has had a status change to "decision letter sent" since 12/6, correct? I'm an RD hopeful UR 11/24....

12/6 has been the latest date this thread has seen. If I were to guess, I would say more decisions will be sent next week.

yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing...maybe they're sending out the decisions at the very end/very beginning of each week...although it's strange that they would do some on a Friday and then the very next day Monday (unless they were all one batch and just didn't finish updating all of them on Friday..?)...here's to hoping they send out another batch this Friday!
