You have to wait one week. Come Christmas Eve, I think the ED talk will be pretty much over.thecilent wrote:I just can't wait for this thread to turn to RD. So sick of the ED talk.

What is this index business? Is that "SCORE" on LSP?Kili wrote:https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key ... 5boF#gid=0jd2014! wrote:Yeah, I want some material with which to speculate. Too bad Columbia's status checkers are booooring. (They probably know better than to feed the TLS beast.)
Have at it. It's something to start with at least.
In reference to the index.

So y'all reckon they're done deferring people today? I see all these people with 172's getting deferred this morning, and here I am sitting w/ my wittle 170 getting ready to wet myself. I got a feeling it's going to come any moment now, but still holding on to hope for some kind of a miracle.

But that's a good starting indicator for RD...thecilent wrote:I just can't wait for this thread to turn to RD. So sick of the ED talk.

Plus, that's why I made several attempts to move ED discussion to the ED thread.
But now I can join in the RD discussion!

The problem with discussion in two separate threads is that next year when neurotic applicants want to go through the thread, they will probably never find the ED waiting thread and will wonder why all ED discussion is conspicuously missing in the main thread. At least, thats why I try to update this thread with ED happenings.

Did anyone else have a discepancy between your LSP score and the index on the summary LSAC sent to Columbia? My LSP is 4.236 but my LSAC is 4.3. Not sure if its a rounding thing either... for example my Duke LSP is 3.497 but my LSAC index is 3.4.Kili wrote:Yes. Yeah I def don't have a problem with ED talk in here - it should be. I was just noting that I'm getting sick of it (read: impatient to get to RD ddecisions).vertex wrote:The problem with discussion in two separate threads is that next year when neurotic applicants want to go through the thread, they will probably never find the ED waiting thread and will wonder why all ED discussion is conspicuously missing in the main thread. My lsac for Columbia is a 4.4, while LSP I'm more like a 4.35. I figured it was rounding but idk.eecs wrote:Did anyone else have a discepancy between your LSP score and the index on the summary LSAC sent to Columbia? My LSP is 4.236 but my LSAC is 4.3. I do not believe LSP has the most recent median data. They updated in June 2010-, well before median data was available for most recent class. LSAC utilizes most recent data for 2010 entering class.

$1.99 is in ED! Looks like a swarm of soft dings this morning and a slow trickle of acceptances this afternoon.

That slow trickle looks more like a single drop in hindsight, lol.vertex wrote:$1.99 is in ED! Looks like a swarm of soft dings this morning and a slow trickle of acceptances this afternoon.

Sorry to interject into the ED discussion. I am RD and my status just updated from pending to complete. Does anyone know roughly how much longer it takes to get a decision? It's on a rolling basis so I'm hoping as soon as the EDs are out of the way. Early January? Maybe by the end of December even?

Earliest acceptances are very end of January. Although if you only just went complete you may have a little bit longer to wait.

You're probably going to have to wait into February to get a decision, unless you have auto-admit numbers (175+, 3.9+).ISTAND wrote:A couple of weeks ago.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
