I'm not sure what the percentage is, but based on what I've seen, it appears that just receiving a Darrow invite places you in a rather exclusive club. :wink:

(I'm pretty sure it comes with a year supply of chocolate frogs too so when you get your Darrow and if I somehow get in to Mich, you have to promise to share chocolate frogs with your poor friend. <3) :wink:

Anybody been accepted lately?

I'm kinda worried about being YP, since it happened to a friend of mine last year with nearly identical numbers...but I wrote 2 additional essays...so what is up?

There's also a direct link to it from the JD admissions site.

Has anyone heard anything from Michigan lately? Does anyone know if they sent out a pre-Christmas round of decisions last year? I'm getting ansy... :shock:

I got the acceptance folder today for Summer start. Very excited!! I should say I live in Ann Arbor, so they probably did send a Pre-Christmas batch that has gotten slowed down significantly due to all the holiday mail. Hang in there, and good luck. I'm just about to watch my zip drive that they send along with.

Oddly enough, my status checker still says complete, so I don't know how much to trust that. It might be because I"m admitted for summer start? I'm not sure. Best of luck to all, and happy holidays.

They don't change the status checker until a few days after they mail out the packet, "to prevent anxiety." Since you're in AA, it seems like the mail is faster. And grats!

Clint4law- Optimistically the best you could hope for is a decision within around 3 weeks. Do not get discouraged though if it takes upwards of 6 weeks. Hang in there and hopefully you will here a yes back whenever it is.

I hope everyone enjoys the holidays. There will be a massive onslaught of waitlists and rejections come January coming out of Michigan and all the other T14s that have yet to deliver unfavorable decisions to RD applicants. I surely will be one such victim.
