I received a $20K/year scholly to UCLA and have noticed that many applicants with lower numbers have been offered more money. I would consider my softs at least average, if not above average.

with that lsat, you might just want to go find a job for 2 years and app to Northwestern.

The only result so far in your cycle that goes against recent trends is GMU. Sub 3.0 is death at all the t14's this year except NU. So hang in there.

I am one of those people who got more $$ than you with lower #s. I think UG institution and/or California residency could play a role. UCLA seems to like prestigious California UGs and throws money at people like me to try to keep me in California.

hmm. i didn't get a penny. at least not that was mentioned over the phone, if that's when you usually hear. my numbers are strong for UCLA. i'm a little confused about all this.

For whatever reason UCLA never called me. I was one of the first to hear, too. I found out via snail mail packet back in late October and my scholarship info was in the packet - $30K/year for three years.

tbh I would categorize my softs as firmly average, and I'm not at a UG in California. Maybe they just took a shine to my PS.
