Uh what? I submitted 9/10 and haven't heard anything.

Though I guess I only got the complete email on 11/17.

does nyu send anything between submission and complete email? I have the LSAC confirmation but never got anything like "we have received your application to nyu law" etc.

Definetely! It'll be way chill to attend an ASW in NY...as a cali guy, im pretty pumped to see what the other coast has to offer. GP, I'm sure you've got HYSCCN as your only options...any favorites?

I went complete 12/2 with a decision sent out shortly after. I only took the LSAT once (thank god). Im really unsure what NYU does with retakes...dms I'm pulling for you like a mother!

I went complete with the Early December crowd. Called the office, and they said that my decision letter is in the mail and will be here by week's end. Anyone know if mail even gets delivered on 12/24?

Good luck. Do you when they said they mailed it? If so, there is reason for hope and nervousness that they may have sent out another wave of decisions.

They just recently sent out another wave of decisions this week.

They mailed it no later than Wednesday. There is definitely another wave of decisions going out, but this seems to be the tail end. Hopefully they arrive before the Christmas hiatus. Good luck to everyone else!

Finally received my acceptance today after an agonizing wait! The letter was dated 1st December, but it took around 3 weeks to reach me here in Asia.....absolutely delighted with this unexpected X'mas surprise!!

Sorry if this question has been answered before, but how have folks found out when a decision has been made? Since NYU doesn't have a status checker, do they email you when they have finished your application?

Nope they don't....and u won't know until you receive a decision via snail mail. However some of us have had success calling them to find out if a decision has been mailed out (though they don't reveal the decision on the phone).

No, no email. I found out when there was a purple envelope in the mailbox. I hear is it is large a purple for acceptance and standard-size and white for rejections.

Gotcha, thanks. It seemed like it would be uncharacteristic of NYU to give you a heads up after a decision had been reached.

Oh, and the reason i am asking here is because they are closed for "winter break". I planned on mailing it out today but I guess i assumed they'd have it on the form. I haven't looked at it in like 3 weeks.
