On the bright side, it looks like we were right that there were no real substantive differences between the varying UR dates- I was also just waitlisted. Most likely withdrawing, but good luck to everyone still waiting!

I was also waitlisted today, just as I was with Columbia. Pretty happy though to be perfectly honest, as I expected straight rejections from both.

Waitlisted after interview a while ago. A little bitter not because I wanted to go or get in, but more out of ego. I honestly couldn't show much interest in the school though and I guess it showed. I know other people won't share the same sentiments, but for a school that boasts its interdisciplinary learning, I thought UChicago was pretty one dimensional in its focus on economics.
