Just curious is Jessica Soban the only female admission staff to conduct the interviews? Just did mine and didn't catch the interviewer's self-introduction (coz... I was nervous) and now wondering who I should address to when writing a thank you note.

Thanks!
No, they are other women who conduct interviews.
And the overwhelming consensus is not to write thank you notes for JS1s. I didn't and got a JS2, and all current HLS students I've spoken to didn't either (and strongly advised against it).
My anecdotal experience: Interviewed with AdComm who I had met before interviewing. Sent a thank you email. Got JS2. So I don't think it is damning if you do. Don't see how it can hurt.

You appear to be missing the contents of the envelope.

This gives me so much hope. My updated transcript just got sent to them yesterday, so maybe we were skipped over because they were waiting for our fall grades and once they have them we will get our glorious JS2s

Oh my god this could totally be the reason. My friend who seems like an auto admit still hasn't heard back after her interview a while ago but she's also still finishing her last year of undergrad!

Well it looks like a number of KJDs have been accepted already (and presumably without fall grades), but they are all 3.9+ GPAs. I'm guessing they have been holding off on those of us who are a little lower GPA-wise to look at trends/see if we're being lazy enough to hurt their medians.

When did KJDs who got interviews go complete? Been complete 2 months w/o a request. North of 175/3.85.

I haven't received a JS2 either. K-JD, 3.96, 174. Interviewed in November.

join QC and I's waiting pity party! I have a feeling we'll get good news, it might just be awhile. My interviewer was oddly firm about not worrying if it took awhile to hear from them again.

They started 1/20 last year, so we are a couple of days overdue it seems...

Are dings also sent in agonizing waves, or do they send out mass dings?

I'm a KJD with 3.9+ GPA (but LSAT below median) and still waiting for JS2! I have not received an updated transcript request from anywhere though, and I actually graduated in December and noted as much on my applications. It would seem like the schools just don't really care about my senior year grades, and I'm not sure what that signifies if it means anything at all. :?

Knowing that dings could come at any moment is making me re-evaluate what is important in my life.

According to various questionably reliable Internet sources, it seems like a lot of people who get offered Hamiltons pass on it to go to HYS.

Really???!!! That's so surprising to me. As much as I love HLS, a Hammy would be almost a slam pick. And y'all know how devoted I am. But I'm getting zero financial aid from Harvard.

Really?
A Hamilton seems more prestigious than a Yale acceptance.

If someone is planning to debt finance their law school education, then that is objectively insane.
