I'll be honest...That's not what I expected you to look like (the first PW I've seen btw other than Hilde's hair). Dunno what I expected...Maybe, more Southern. Maybe older...Kinda like your tar.Generally wrote:Here is a real pretty one for those who missed.
Not gonna indulge anyone on mine though. Don't wanna bring the group average down.

Awh I missed the General's new ones.
But I saw earlier ones and I agree, he looks nothing like expected. Younger, for one.

Leaving shortly to go with a friend to Michigan to house sit for her aunt. Will be in a city about 30 miles ish away from Ann Arbor, can anyone guess where I'll be stopping by?
Will also be making a stop in Detroit, because why not. I know it's a shit stain ha. Anyone have any recommendations for things to do?

In all fairness, I've never been there. I'm sure there are parts that are nice! I just know they've had some very rough times the last 10-15 years. The Abyss wrote:I take great offense to you calling Detroit a shit stain. As far as things to do: Detroit has greektown which is worth a visit, you can wander around downtown (not dangerous during daytime), check out the riverwalk, and belle isle is close. In Dearborn (just west of the city) there's Greenfield Village, and the Ford museum.

Thanks for your suggestions! My main aim in Ann Arbor is to see the law quadrangle, but I hear it's beautiful there so may be worth a look around. The Abyss wrote:As far as things to do: Detroit has greektown which is worth a visit, you can wander around downtown (not dangerous during daytime), check out the riverwalk, and belle isle is close. Greektown sounds amazing! Will definitely be going there! I loved Chinatown in Chicago.
