Unrelated question: have any of you guys attended an LSAC forum? Thoughts?
I have registered for the one in LA this Saturday but it would involve many hours of driving for me, so I wanted to make sure it's worth it.

That's awesome! Unfortunately, my first choice (Columbia) is not attending the LA forum, so that makes me question going at all.

Even so, getting waivers from other t14 schools would could prove beneficial. Assuming your numbers are good enough to warrant scholarship offers from other t14s, you could use those offers to negotiate for more $ from Columbia. Essentially, fee waivers(not Columbia) make it cheaper to apply to other t14s that may offer $, which may give you leverage in negotiations with Columbia.

You might've already considered this but just my $0.02

Just had a dream (lol melatonin) that I was getting arrested and woke up trying to figure out if it was real and how I was going to disclose it on the apps I already submitted.

I think the more prominent issue here is that this is a p normal dream scenario but your brain turned it into a law school thing

I've been in literally zero clubs or anything throughout undergrad (I work a lot) so I was thinking maybe I'd try doing one for my last year just for shits and giggles. but it kind of seems like a big time commitment and I'm not really clear on what it entails so idk. anyone who's done it have advice?

At my undergrad mock trial was a huge time commitment but it was unclear what % of that was drinking.

Eh, I'm just intellectually curious.

When someone asks a question that is interesting to me, I like to track down the answer.

Once I get my LSAT score back mid-October, I'll check into some of the c/o 2018 school threads, but will probably have to create some myself.

I'm mostly targeting strong regionals for full-rides. I have money saved up for living expenses and have no interest in taking out a penny in loans. I'm pretty debt-averse.

Are you looking into UIUC, IU, ND? Sometimes I feel like the only one targeting midwest regionals as safe fall backs.

I'm with you on the Midwest regionals. I am also aiming at IU, ND as well as T14.
