As someone who prides himself in having little to no accent compared to others in Texas, conveying it is one of my strong points. I naturally overexaggerate the accents when speaking which makes it easy to identify which letters to use to portray particular sounds.

I feel asking the interviewer will you be my Valentine is totally appropriate considering friday is Valentines's day.

Be sure to supplement after awkward silence with: "I don't plan on sexually harassing you, just figured I'd mention that in case it makes your decision any easier".

The confirmation email I received contained my interviewer's name--that's the only way I would have known.

We are boring and all hate one another. Best way to nail the interview is just keep asking if they are GEORGE Washington. I'm sure they love that!
Hai. I'm Scotty. I'm from DC and I wanted to stay in DC for law school, so GEORGE Washington is PERFECT for my goals. That good?
If you wrote a thesis, know it well they'll bring it up.

No worries, it's an honorable designation :) . Capable, unless miss-used, is a good thing!

Hey, wait a minute! How did I get involved in this?

I leave the thread for an hour and find two more pages added- all solid, solid interview tips.

Definitely make sure to compliment the interviewer on her folksy-St. Louis charm and ask if she'll be your gooey butter cake. St. Louis chicks dig this.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
