You know that schools offer at least 2x their actual amount of merit awards because they have forecasting models and yield projections, right? So you really think they've already offered 4 mil (when they have 2 mil), despite only rendering decisions on like 2/3s of their applications? There's just no way.Inconceivable! wrote:No, but any school would be moronic to allocate all of their budget when close to half of the apps are still unread. Would you really want to attend such a place? Seriously?[/quo
They have already read over 2/3 of their apps, if not more. I think they know how to allocate their funds. Furthermore, I wanted to make sure that they were sending out Merit scholarships before another schools deadline. If they told me they would not be out till say April 14, my decision would have been heavily impacted.

Really? "Hope to have them out by the end of the month " is an answer?Inconceivable! wrote:I knew they had the money, the question was when will be it released. Which they followed up with, "at the end of next week" (which I presume to mean Thursday/Friday), which is pretty specific.drive4showLSAT4dough wrote:Really? Did not realize that getting information and sharing it with fellow TLSers was going to result in such a backlash.

UCR 2 today, been UCR1 since 1/18, applied 12/12/12. The notice at the top of the page about when to expect decisions has disappeared so idk if this is indicative of a pending decision or what???

I sent the negotiation letter last Monday but didn't hear back yet...
Should I send it again? I sent the mail to their email address for admitted students.

I feel so left out
I got in on 1/25 but no word on scholly since then...
Is this because I applied for the Public Service Scholarship?
