How do you think the admissions peeps would react to a petition to reverse their decision on adjudicator (and any others amongst us who should have got in )?

Bingo! Just got my UW acceptance in the mail today! Decision: 2/25.

Sorry for posting this in the applicants/waiting thread, but did any admits get a call from UW recently? My phone call was kind of.... weird. Not sure what to make of it.

If money is in the picture, then I would consider it equal. If no money and no money at Vandy, yes. Texas is a great option, but I really want to get out of this state.

Yeah, I received a call from a 2L last night. Didn't really talk to her long since I was in the middle of grilling, but she gave a number and email if I had any further questions. Definitely not weird...what was odd about yours?

I got a very nice voice mail from a professor. No weirdness, but it was just a long voicemail. She attended my undergrad, so that was nice.

Ok so I am thinking 2/25 is the acceptance batch....I was told my letter was dated 2/22 and my status checker still says "In review 2/1" plus UW is my reach school.

Any in review 2/1 people out there with positive news? Waiting to harass the mailman any minute now...

or sometimies we get the mail-lady.

Sorry to hear that. I suppose the envelope size was a give away before you opened the letter. I wonder if mailmen are familiar with the difference in letter sizes for the schools in their areas.

OK, I'm fed up. I'm making a pledge and I expect all of you diligent TLSers to hold me to it.

I've gotten some great offers and I want to be able to make a decision soon. If I don't hear from UW by March 15, I will withdraw my application. So mark my words!

How sad is it that my first reaction to finding out that I got a full ride to Minnesota is thinking "I wonder if I can use this to leverage UW..."? Time to write that UW scholarship essay......
