Anyone know how to withdraw?

Just found out I'll be getting free tuition at UT, and Ivy League Penn gave me almost as much merit money as Vanderbilt.

I'd like to free up a spot for someone still waiting. If you're one of these people, please PM me with how to withdraw in case I don't check this thread again. Good luck!

Nobody could possibly care less. I've never read a post by you that didn't strike me as being stupid.

If I was a douche, I would probably have read these replies and then sat on my acceptance until it automatically "expired" on May 2nd. But withdrew already. Enjoy Nashville!

Definitely reconsidering law school at the moment, due to the prospects of spending the rest of my life with people like this, and other reasons. Maybe someone can have my MP spots, too!

If you don't attend law school, I think I deserve a gift basket from the people I saved from being your future classmate. Now GTFO of this thread.

I received mine in the mail (via campus mail since I live on campus) today. The letter's dated March 23rd.

See my edit above -- nothing but the scholarship and loans, unfortunately.

ETA: I shouldn't complain since federal loans met the cost of attendance; no need for commercial loans = happy ATR.

If you are talking about a decision letter, the packages are sent Fedex Express. WLs and dings are through regular mail.

They don't do need-based grants, just scholarships and loans.

I am attending and look forward to meeting some of you all there. For those of you attending, who is into hiking and camping? Snowboarding? It might be fun to go do some kind of a group hike before classes get too hectic. I have a thing for mountains

I also have an anecdote about Vanderbilt, which speaks to their well-deserved reputation as a class act. I live in Sendai, Japan. The day after the earthquake and tsunami struck, I received emails from both my Vanderbilt interviewer and from Cynthia Coleman in admissions. They not only inquired about my state of affairs but also offered to provide any assistance that I might (and thankfully didn’t) need. When my cell phone finally started working a week later, I found a pretty heartfelt voice message from my interviewer, who I am also going out to lunch with in Tokyo next week. While I am certain that Vanderbilt isn’t without faults, I am definitely convinced of its merits.

They do give need-aid....they calculate your scholly with the merit and need together....so they scholly you got from vandy was supposed to include both.

By the way.....went to the LA reception and LOVED it...

vandy is a class act
