Does this mean they haven't even start the review on my app? I mean shouldn't I get a "review in process" or something similar? I just hate not seeing any updates like you guys...
Have you read this thread? Where did you get the idea anyone else got updates?
Yeah just keep waiting. The status checker isn't a great tool for W&M.
Thanks ukgrad for the constructive response.
Still complete on 1/12/2011. Expecting a Waitlist. A bit shocked to be honest.

Heard back on increased scholarship request yesterday. They offered me another $3,000 a year for a total of $18,000 a year.

Got mine increased to $20,000 a year as well. Definitely worth dropping them an email!

I brought up my two best offers - Minnesota ($35k/year) and Alabama ($24k/year). Got me from $4k to $10k.

I went from $10k to $20k with my Duke admit and W&L full-ride (which was all I had at the time in early January).

Hey all just checking in. I haven't looked at any of the past 71 pages, so I apologize if this has been asked, but, I'm at "Complete 1/12". Sent in my application late November. LSAT above 75th. GPA a tiny bit under median.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYY W&M??????

I have similar dates to a few people here, received 1/28, complete 2/2. I seems like some of you in this batch got a quick turnaround though and I haven't heard anything. Any clue of an approximate wait time?

There isn't one. Some people had a 2 day turnaround, I'm still complete 11/12. Pull up a chair and grab a book.

I think W&M is pretty holistic? I got in pretty early while I haven't heard back/rejected/waitlisted by similarly ranked schools.
At least I like to think they are because the like me for me. I enjoy the attention, even if it is my own fabrication..

167/3.75 13K Graduate Fellowship + 4k Stipend + 15k Scholarship, 32k/yr. Waiting on BU and BC, but this will likely be my best offer.

I believe the GF is $9k (to make up the diff. b/w OOS and IS tuitions) + a $4k stipend

Which fellowship? Do you know if most fellowship offers have been made?
I was just admitted to BU with a 163/3.96 - you should be hearing soon because their first admitted students day is March 4th; Still have yet to hear from W&M which is REALLY disappointing considering I submitted my app in early November - probably not a good sign...

I also submitted a late application to U of V and had a WL response within a month which makes not hearing from W&M even more disheartening.

Yeah, just FYI, it's only 28k per year because the stipend is party of the graduate fellowship.

That's strange about W&M because they have really quick turnaround time from my experience (submitted 1/8 -> decision 1/16) and what I've heard from others. Maybe drop them an e-mail I wonder if something happened with your app.
The fellowship is the Grad Fellowship they give to out of state people to reduce the tuition down to the in-state level in exchange for 8hrs/wk of work in the library or administration apparently. Its based only on merit and is distinct from those other ones (technology, e.g.) that they request essays for. I didn't apply for those so I havent been involved in the process and don't really know if those offers have been made or not.
Thanks for the heads up about BU by the way, friend.
