Yup, new LSAT score, new PS, 2 new LOR, new addenda. I thought I did all I could to give myself a chance this year. But then, I didn't integrate a Why Berkeley in my PS, so that may have been it?

Maybe they don't like your WE (since you've been out for a while). I remember reading for us non-trads they have to like what we have chosen and done and how it could relate to the study of law. I did such a great job at linking my previous and future career I think I wrote myself out of many other schools (I am starting to get evidence of this). So maybe not a function of coolness but rather what they like to see in a person's career progression.

Worked in academia a couple of years (taught business law, tax, acctg. courses at my alma mater), Big 4 Auditing a couple of years, and have been in Compliance (healthcare) the past 2 years. I thought I had made it very clear by my career choices and in my PS where exactly I wanted to head.

Anyway, it's done. My biggest hope really is that this isn't an indicator of my upcoming decisions at the remaining T6. Got waitlisted at Chicago yesterday... I could use a win soon.

Edit: I probably outed myself with that post. But I don't really have any posts here that I have any misgivings about, so it's ok.

You sound more fitting at Columbia/NYU/Penn. I wish you the best of luck. I don't feel as favorably of my chances at CCN, and I got WLed at Chicago too. Their class is so small and they extend so few offers, you have better chances at Columbia/NYU/Penn.

Read the interview in Boalt's TLS profile with the admissions dean. He talks about submitting by "mid-November at the very latest" or something along those lines.

Yeh you're right .... not all the schools consider it this way tho ... Dean Z. mentioned December is still considered early !(oh la la la for real) !!!

What does this mean.

I feel that other schools have deemed my career focus not a great fit for the school because they don't really offer what I am looking for. I don't think they are too willing to admit me since I either wouldn't choose them over say Berkeley or wouldn't benefit a whole lot from being there.
