Dear American University Washington College of Law,

Have fun taking a shuttle bus to the far end of the red line, asshats. I got into GW and Georgetown (and other T14s) months ago but I hear today that I'm waitlisted at American? Come on. I mean, you're a safety school, wouldn't go at full ride, but I paid the application fee and I deserve a real answer--and you know damn well what that answer should have been.

Your notorious yield protecting does nothing but make future alumni of better schools think of nothing but your admissions shenanigans when meeting your own alumni.

I'm too good for you and you know it.
(Literally--that's the point of yield protecting)

I'll withdraw from your waitlist to be nice to people who might actually want to live in pretty-much-Maryland for three years, but you and your TTT yellow dot are so very unprofessional.

guess i'll just have to console myself with my UMich scholarship and NYU acceptance

thanks for the fee waiver, it was much appreciated. now i can put that $80 towards visiting the schools that won't make my liberal friends embarrassed to know me.

Rejected by William & Mary today. For the record, they were smart to wait until after the new rankings came out. Everyone else that has rejected me (so far) has dropped in the rankings (I'm looking at you Berkeley and Hawaii).

I haven't been rejected yet but I applied to Penn in mid March with numbers below both medians. It's coming, I've just decided to be proactive about this.

I knew you were not a given with my 171/4.0, but I figured my ridiculous WE (COO/VP of T500 multi-million $ firm by age 26, 3 years hands-on M&A exp) LORs from top ranked attorneys and businessmen in Boston, and PS (oldest of 6 kids, schizophrenic father, raised in a cult) would span the gap, what with your "holistic" approach.
Go fawk yaself wicked hahd in the crappah wid a fawkin table leg.

PS I'm pretty sure I got WL at BU because they figured places like you would let me in. Awesome.

Ah, NYU, it's fine - I know I didn't have the numbers, but everyone in New York applies to you, so I had to. To be fair, I took about a half-hour tops to customize my application and send it off to you before heading to brunch, and you probably took even less time looking at it after you found it at the bottom of the pile.
I hope the app fee goes toward an LRAP program to help some poor debt-burdened soul.
