What the hell, Bai and Gargamel, how could you guys possibly have holds? You two have the same or better stats than I do. I'm baffled by this; your numbers alone should have gotten you in. You will both get in eventually though.

I appreciate the optimism at a time when things, I have to say, I think are looking a bit bleak. I'm still trying not to fixate too hard on any one school. but harvard would be a dream come true, and I can't really say that about anywhere else

Yeah I should have edited to say: "am I the only person on TLS who was complete in September and had a JR1 who has not heard one way or another from Harvard?" I think I might be.

Well I appreciate the optimism. I certainly hope you are right. Stanford will begin admitting some more people next week or the following week, if last year is any indication.

yes, below. i don't think i can say much more, since i'm probably like one of 5 of such low gpa's to get JR1.

as for the lowest gpa, there was mention of a 3.4 in the harvard main thread, and there was this one guy i saw before on TLS, i think go4hls or something, who according to his profile had a 3.5 and got a JR2 this cycle.
