What's with all the pessimism!! Come on people lets maintain some sense of hope!

For whoever asked about stats I'm: 3.55/166
American is really strange though... if you look on LSN they wl a lot of people who were above their 75th% oy...

For those who already received a decision... did anything change under mailings in your status checker?

Nope. Only thing that changed was status date and current status (went to - "Decision made"), the Fees box stays blank too.

Good luck to everyone. And to whoever asked, I dont think there is a difference between difference rendered vs decision made, but I could be wrong.

I misspoke in my post - my status changed to "Decision made", not decision rendered. In general, there probably isn't a difference between the two.

I generally think I am the only person for whom American has not made a decision.

I'm in the same boat, and applied on 11/1 (submitted absolutely everything), didn't go complete until 11/23...NO. WORD.

I saw yesterday that I, like alot of you, am just waiting now as my status checker reads "decision made." I have a 3.25 / 162 and I always tend to expect the worst, bc that way I am not dissapointed by bad news while still very happy if it's good news.

Anyone w/ similar numbers hear back yet?

My status is like yours too. I just do not understand the whole AU admission process. I thought they have rolling admission. They could have just update the status to somethings "Under Review" or "Decision Pending" like some schools so at least we know our files are looked over.

I wish they would update my status just to make me feel better; I need something new to look at. I have been complete since 11/23 as well. Since they've rejected people that went complete 11/23 with numbers close to mine, I am at least telling myself this means my application is at least somewhat competitive. Though what it probably means is that I will be waitlisted.

I feel the same way, and I am well above both 75ths. I guess American just doesn't love me :(

I think you are falling prey to YP--they think you are going to go somewhere else so they'll wait forever before DR to see if you withdraw you application. Me on the otherhand...I am sitting at the 25% for LSAT and above 75% for GPA. I am DYING to be in DC and I think American is my best shot...why won't they tell me something?!

and dude, you got into William and Mary--go there!!!!!!!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
