I feel your pain....I really hope we hear soon. My whole summer has been depressing because of this whole situation. I was thinking for sure "late may" then after "June 15th" then after "June 25th" but still nothing. I think TLS schould rank the worst waitlists to be on and I'm thinking KU's has to be in the top 5 in the nation. hahahahaha

I figured I would know where I was going to law school for sure before LeBron knew where he was going to play ball for the next few years but I guess not!

OH by the way....you're in at MIZZOU but KU is your number one!!?!? You know the rivalry is HUGE! haha....as a KU fan I CANNOT let you go to MU! lol. It's gotta be UMKC or hopefully KU but not the TIGERS?!?! lol. just kidding...but seriously.

I am currently in at Mizzou and UMKC; however, KU is by far my first choice. But waiting on this waitlist is painful. I hope something happens soon. The rest of schools that I was on the waitlist announced there intentions last week... I am kind of concerned why there has been no word from KU. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we hear today or tomorrow!

You got into Mizzou but were waitlisted at KU? That's kind of surprising. What are your numbers, out of curiosity? PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting.

Did anyone else make the waitlist cut today??? I'm so glad we heard something finally...."end of July" I'm sure will be more like the second week of August...haha.

Yes! Made the cut! I completely agree with the idea that we will not hear until August... When touring the KU Law School the tour guide shared a story of how some students did not know until the first day of school if they had gotten in off the waitlist. I certainly hope that does not happen.

Getting Ready... I made it into MU and UMKC because I applied to those schools on time. My stats are 160 and GPA 3.1. I finally got my KU application turned in at the end of March. Not a good move. At the time, I did not know which school I wanted to go to but now of course the school I want to go to is making it awfully difficult

Anyway hope we all hear something soon!

What has influenced your decision to place KU ahead of MU, out of curiosity?

I want to practice in Kansas. That is the main reason I would prefer KU over MU. It is where my family and home are and from what I hear KU is better set up for that than MU. I really can't wait to hear. Anyone heard of any other news since they cut the waitlist down?

Edit: Do you have any idea why, as a Kansas resident, you would be waitlisted at KU and accepted at Mizzou (especially since Mizzou is harder to get into)?

I have been on the waitlist at Kansas. I have withdrawn from it. Hopefully that helps some of you guys out there that are waiting. Good luck!

I got a phone call and my acceptance packet arrived a few days later. Now I'm just in hurry up mode trying to figure out how to pay for everything!!! Ahh....it'll be worth it though!
