Score increase. They take the highest score and the app doesn't ask for an addendum for multiple scores, but I guess they want those addenda on a case-by-case basis.
+1 for the multiple LSAT addendum. I sent the addendum to them and that same day my status checker changed to 'Decision Rendered'. This made me almost s%#$ my pants as I thought I got rejected with that quick of a turnaround...but alas 2 days later I received an acceptance letter in the mail.

So don't let the fact that they specifically request an addendum from you make you think it's a bad thing!!

Did you go straight from "complete" to "decision rendered"?

Yes. I sent it in the morning and probably by about 3:00pm I went to decision rendered.

That must have been nerve racking! So they sent it to you via U.S. mail?

I want to hear from USD. They're my number 1, there, I said it. With a 161 and a 3.1 I'm borderline. I applied part-time to help my chances and so I can keep my job, if I want to.

I went complete 11/24, but nothing since. Tear. Not even a date change. I know I'll probably be waiting for a while. Sigh.

I was in sunny SD sweating over the holidays. As I was leaving, my Dad goes, "it must feel good to have MY law school be your safety school." Yeah Dad it does feel good. :D (P.S. no offense USD is a great school)

Does anyone know what kind of numbers have received full scholarships in the past? I'm anxiously waiting for mid-Jan as a full scholarship would make USD very attractive to me.

LSN reports people all over the spectrum receiving 100k+ schollys. 163/3.6 seems to be the lowest stats that received 100k+, but there are a few 160/3.7sh people who received 60k+.

DECISION RENDERED as of today! (Sent 11/07, Complete 11/17)

Over the next few days I will be running to the mailbox after work instead of walking. Moving back to my home town for LS is an exciting idea!

Ha yea just a little. 2 days later I saw a big white envelope in the mail so I sorta breathed a sigh of relief (even though I most likely won't be going to USD unless they throw some money my way, but hey the acceptance always feels good).

From "Application received" to "completed"

I got the email that USD received my application on Jan 5, 2010 and after that the status is stayed as "application received" rather than "completed." Does this mean there was still something missing in my file? Or does it simply means Adcomm hasn't open my file yet.

I believe there is nothing missing in my application except one LOR out of 2 assigned in LSAC. But LOR is anyway not required in USD.

Did your online status changed to something else beside "complete"?
May I ask your stats?

There's a big envelope from USD at my house right now and I have two hours of work left! The agony. Went complete 12/16.

I got a financial aid postcard in the mail today. I haven't received an admission decision yet. Does this mean anything? I don't really get it.

Same here. Been complete since 11/02.

"Financing your future.

USD Law is committed to providing financial assistance to eligible sudents.

Sources of financial aid include more than 380 need/merit, merit, and diversity-based scholarships; federal plans, such as work-study programs; the Perkins, Stafford, and Graduate Plus loan programs; and institutional loans.

Private loan programs are also available to assist law students with supplemental financing.

For more information of important deadlines, procedures and federally required consumer information, visit our financial aid information web page blahb lah blah

The financial aid application process is separate from the admission process. Admission decisions are made without regard to ability to pay. To avoid missing deadlines, please apply for financial aid before you are notified of your admissions to USD law."

So I guess they're saying to apply just in case we don't receive our decisions before financial aid app deadline.
