I'm complete since 11/09 and still haven't heard a thing...should I call just to check and see what's up? 11 weeks seems kinda unreasonable when they say 6-8 weeks in the complete email.

Ok, so this could be me being paranoid but I've seen people giving complete dates and the only email I've gotten from them said that they received my app and requested my LSDAS report and that "We will contact you again if materials are missing or we need additional information." That was 12/21. They haven't contacted me again so should I assume I'm complete?

I'm in the same boat, but I received the e-mail two-ish weeks ago.

What does "file complete" "not in review" mean?

It means that you are applying to the University of Illinois and are not yet in review.ryguy wrote:What does "file complete" "not in review" mean?

Haha I was gonna say, I didn't think IU had a status checker and that sounded awfully like what it says on UofI for me...holydonkey wrote:It means that you are applying to the University of Illinois and are not yet in review.ryguy wrote:What does "file complete" "not in review" mean?

Glad to know I'm not alone at least. Hopefully we'll here something soon.Jerome wrote:kkmae wrote:Ok, so this could be me being paranoid but I've seen people giving complete dates and the only email I've gotten from them said that they received my app and requested my LSDAS report and that "We will contact you again if materials are missing or we need additional information." I didn't hear anything after the "we received your app" email until I got the email asking me to interview. I don't think we have much to worry about. Anybody know anything about the interviews?

No they don't. My theory is that its for borderline candidates and potential big time scholarship recipients. Anyone agree? Disagree?

Do we know if this is a "hey-how-are-you-Interview" or a "admissions-decision-Interview" ??

Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
I searched TLS for info on the interview and cant really find much. Im hoping it is fairly relaxed, maybe the typical "why IU?" "why law school" "what happened here ____ (insert application weakness)"

Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
the reason I added the big scholarship candidates is because the email included a line about how all the full-tuition scholarship recipients from last year were people the admissions committee had previously met with. I guess in the end I have no clue.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
