I have this same question...does anyone know the answer?runaround13 wrote:for people that have gotten a decision of some sort:
does the app status go from "waiting for review" to "In review" before you get some decision or is "waiting for review" the U's method of saying you're under review?

Re: Minnesota 2010!
I was in review the day after I submitted, then re-in review. Then in review on 11/2- which is when I think they actually started looking at my application. I think I was in "fake review" since Sept. Nancy's movement seemed like they were "officially" looking at her app. But I have no idea- I would totally rather it be your thought- that RDs are getting shuffled up!tamlyric wrote:
Really Kpd? Mine has been the same since it went "In Review" back in early November. What kinds of changes has yours gone through and approximately when did it go through them? (So fun to figure these things out. Even if there's nothing to figure out.)
So if ED decisions are finished (since they had a decision deadline of Dec 1), do we think next week (or today!?!) for the rest of us?

Re: Minnesota 2010!
I got my decision Monday. Prior to that, I was "In Review" from October 16 until I had a decision (and I got a phone call notifying me of my acceptance before my status checker changed. So when I got the call, my status checker still read "In Review"). If I remember right, I was in "waiting for review" for a very short time before going to In Review. Hope that helps!Swingandamiss wrote:I have this same question...does anyone know the answer?runaround13 wrote:for people that have gotten a decision of some sort:

I have been "In Review" since early november. I switched to a second "In Review" with an update on 12/4/09. Does this mean a decision is imminent?

I went complete on 11/16, "In Review" 11/18, 11/24 and then 12/1 when I was later switched to "Waitlist"

I've been "In Review" since Oct. 2. I'm probably withdrawing on Monday though, so hopefully that's a spot for someone else!

Re: Minnesota 2010!
Dunno, but I was lucky enough to get into Michigan, UVA and Berkeley this week, and don't think any amount of money from Minnesota could sway me. That being said, Minneapolis is amazing, and UMN is a great school. Good luck, I've been following your posts on here and I really hope you get in!!!Slimpee wrote:Where're ya heading instead?Kretzy wrote:I've been "In Review" since Oct. 2. Mine just changed to that date to? Perhaps Monday we'll get something! Do they notify by status checker or email or is it just snail mail?brose002 wrote:I have been "In Review" since early november. I switched to a second "In Review" with an update on 12/4/09. Does this mean a decision is imminent?

I would like to know that same question. Good luck to you. I believe we are also part of the 12/01 batch for Georgetown so good luck on that as well.robin600 wrote:Mine just changed to that date to? Yay status twin!!! What are your stats if you don't mind me asking, I'm 163/3.65 (I'm blind though so my LSAT is accommodated and not necessarily representative)brose002 wrote:I would like to know that same question. Im 168, 3.05. Significant WE/Softs, etc. I would find it very unlikely that Minnesota wouldn't let you in. Georgetown too for that matter.robin600 wrote:Yay status twin!!! Thanks brose002!!! I'd be surprised if GT and UMN didn't let you in either, you might even get a scholly at UMN. Did you apply PT or FT to GT? Keep me posted on the GT and UMN status and let me know either way!brose002 wrote:Im 168, 3.05. Significant WE/Softs, etc. I would find it very unlikely that Minnesota wouldn't let you in. Thanks, I would be ecstatic with a scholly from UMN. I applied PT to Georgetown. Keep me posted as well.robin600 wrote:Thanks brose002!!! +1 for humanity
Thx for the luck wishes, but my cycle ended almost as soon as it began. Applied ED UMN and got in 2 weeks later. In a way I think I'll miss the suspense and excitement...
