Re: Cornell waiting room
When do you all expect to receive decisions, and what has been the earliest decision from Cornell?

I just applied last night, regular decision though. I assume I'll be waiting a while.

How many people here received a fee waiver by mail to apply based on your numbers?

Re: Cornell waiting room
Do they for real still MAIL the decisions?
Are they going to change my status to decision and make me wait fourteen days for the MAIL to arrive?
I am really hoping this is not the case. For one thing, they could just announce the decision on the status checker, and if not, they still have my EMAIL address!
If anybody knows for sure, please post the answer. Many thanks!

OMFG.
I live in the hood, without a real mailbox, so my address for all my LSAC stuff is my parents house so nothing important gets lost or stolen.
How much is this gonna suck to hear, Mom: " Hey we have a letter here for you from Cornell"

I applied 11/1 EA but haven't gotten the complete on the status checker. I tried to make sure I'm not missing anything. I was told we didn't need the certificate to go complete. Is that wrong?

My god, yes. Possibly worse is delivery from my 73 year old father. Listening to him critique my statements over the phone was like listening to Tosh.0's old guy reading Miley Cyrus tweets...I can only imagine.Cupidity wrote:OMFG.

No, it's not wrong. As of this year, Cornell applicants no longer need a dean's certification to apply.chinagator wrote:I applied 11/1 EA but haven't gotten the complete on the status checker. You aren't the only one who applied on or before 11/2 but isn't EA complete yet. I think that the admissions office is just behind.

I got one in the mail today. Wasn't going to apply before but I will now. Their brochure design is the best I have seen so farmarch319 wrote:How many people here received a fee waiver by mail to apply based on your numbers?

So if I sent in my application on 11/9 and I haven't heard anything at all from them should I be worried? I haven't even got an email saying they received my application.

I assumed most people here applied for early action. Let's say that God forbid, you are "held/deferred" rather than accepted. Does this mean that you will be looked again during the RD process or does it mean that you are placed on the waitlist and will be looked at again if there is any room after all decisions are made?

If my application already went EA complete, can i still email them my LSAT/GPA addendum? I never explained my low GPA, and my improvement on my LSAT... over 9 points increase

It's right on their admissions page, under *contact us*. Yes, TLS is helpful, but there is a point at which you just come off as lazy.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Actually, I have looked it up myself and was already drafting a letter to them. I wanted to confirm it was that address, and not another specific address for an addendum or late letters after my application went complete.gymboree wrote:

I apologize if it seemed like I was coming off being lazy, but I like to have multiple sources for my facts.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
