Re: Reverse-Splitters Unite! - The 2010 Reverse-Splitter Thread
3.9/160
Applied to...
Kentucky
Georgia
Wake Forest
George Mason
William & Mary (that's not happening)
Washington & Lee (also not happening, but what the hey...I had waivers)
Villanova
Now begins the waiting game. I think I like this waiting game better than the waiting for LSAT scores wait, though...that was awful. At least everything is done on my part at this point.

I loved their campus when I visited last summer. Yeah, I know you don't go to law school for the campus...but I've been attracted to Wake since I started thinking about law school.

LSAT FEB '10 ??? (practice tests were 155 range)/3.0
I think my softs are strong, I have an MBA/3.85, 10 yrs of paralegal experience, and LORs from attorneys I work for.
I have a Tier 4 application out there, but otherwise I will retest and apply to my first choice, a Tier 2, for next year.

Re: Reverse-Splitters Unite! - The 2010 Reverse-Splitter Thread
3.77/161...a 3.93 at my bachelor granting institution and a plethora of the best academic accolades my university could offer, however I was light on the softs as I had part time work and 3 hours of communting to do each day.
Thus far I was WL at Seattle U (that one really hurt) and Accepted to Chicago-Kent with a 20k scholarship per year.
Still waiting on U of Washington and three emergency schools I applied to when I freaked out about the waitlisting at Seattle (DePaul, Loyola CHI, and St. Louis).
It would take nothing short of a full scholarship to go to the emergency three...but an admit to U-Dub would certainly end the tier 2 Kent/Seattle drama (Kent is superior in every where except location...which is my biggest factor and why I am still considering SU).
Please U-Dub adcomms...think of my astounding undergrad work!!!!

160/3.79 (3.84 DGI). I have no good softs, no good work expierence, a shitty PS and DS (imho) and average (at best) LORS. I also applied late (fail!) lol.
So far I have gotten into Miami (missed the scholarship dealine though >.<), and Quinnipiac, Western New England College, and Tulsa, all with money.
Im waiting on: UConn, Suffolk, WULS, Fordham PT, William and Mary, Drexel, Michigan State, and St. Johns.
Good luck everybody, we can do this, to hell with standardized tests!

We are quite similar and I really think you are selling yourself short. We both have tons of undergrad academic accolades but weak softs, but yet I remain somewhat optimistic about getting into my top choice. I have a hunch that one of your reaches will accept you or a target will offer lots of $$$.MattProgressive wrote:160/3.79 (3.84 DGI). IN at UVA!! Just a note to my fellow reverse splitters to say that there is definitely still hope - I never thought I'd get into a T10 but it looks like hard work in undergrad can actually do the trick despite a mediocre LSAT (by TLS standards). Good luck to the rest of you, I'm hopeful that the rest of you will also be pleasantly surprised by your acceptances
