someone in this tread said that we will have to wait a few weeks for scholarship information, once we have already been accepted.Miamiboi305 wrote:Has anyone who has been accepted already by my mail online UM login still shows nothing? I just finished my application for UM last night and was wondering how long before I should expect to get an email confirming that they have everything? Also, how long did it take for must of you to get the decision?

Re: In at UMiami
i got the complete email in a reasonable amount of time. Also, the admittance came VERY quickly, i was shocked how quickly it came. I applied very early in the cycle, FWIW.mrm2083 wrote:I just finished my application for UM last night and was wondering how long before I should expect to get an email confirming that they have everything? Watching "The U" on ESPN made me want to go back
(though I didn't apply and don't plan to for personal reasons). Congrats to everyone who got in; you are really going to love it.

Re: In at UMiami
so i'm on hold at the U...
i talked with them and they said to send anything that would let them know more about who i am as an applicant...
i'm already sending another rec from the state administrator of the group i volunteer with. where do you draw the line on what to send?
i was a professional stage performer for 5 years... should i send stuff that has to do with that? i.e. reviews, reels, etc? where do i draw the line?

Re: In at UMiami
this seems to speak to who you are as an application on a personal level. I gave them similar (non-academically similar) info in my PS. I think this kind of information will make you stand out as diverse is a way to the Adcoms. Maybe you could write this into another PS-type essay. go for it.actorlaw wrote:so i'm on hold at the U...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
