Re: In at Duke!
C'mon Duke. Start my weekend off right. To quote Fergie:
Put your milk in my cocoa puff,
Milky Milky cocoa,
Put your milk in my cocoa puff,
And let me in your school.
Sincerely,
Kretzy

Put your milk in my cocoa puff,
And let me in your school.
Sincerely,
Kretzy

Re: In at Duke!
the financial aid forms are available for download on the Duke admitted students site. I grabbed mine as soon as I got the login, but haven't mailed them out yet due to my parents trying to figure out how to fill out their portion. Do we need to send anything other than their own fin aid form that you know of?iminlstrick wrote:Of those accepted, has anyone received an acceptance package via snail mail yet? Unsure if I should give more time, but I'm traveling soon for an extended period and wanted to get my Duke forms out asap. I have, on the other hand, received three viewbooks and two application invite letters, so it's not like they don't have my address...

In via email today. Seriously, a one day turnaround. I sent my application in at 4PM EST yesterday.
Either way, very excited and very relieved.

Priority. I mean, I was expecting an answer within the week, but not within twenty four hours. Haha.

Re: In at Duke!
I sent it on Thursday at 4PM EST, and I know it was complete about 30 minutes later. Then I got home at 4PM EST on Friday and had an email from Dean Hoye.

besides the couple of lucky ones, have any priority trackers received admits since the middle to end of last week..
the silence on this board is relatively comforting..i went complete friday and have not heard anything yet--im still in review.

It has been under review for so much longer than the other priority track people on here. Anyone else go complete last week and not heard yet?

Just curious, is anyone in this thread relatively set on Duke and/or Duke was your first choice and you're already in?

Re: In at Duke!
My answer is probably similar to many other posters' who got into Duke; somewhere I would consider going, but not a top-top choice per se. I would be pretty happy if that was the best place I got into, though.
I imagine other posters' responses will probably vary by their LSAT score. It's funny how the admissions process worked for me... last year, I would have been ecstatic to get into somewhere like UCLA or UT-Austin. Now I get into Duke and think "well, that's cool... but can I get in somewhere better?"
