Also, I am curious as to why there seems to be movement from the regular WL right. PWL here and have heard very little. Should I be worried?

Yeah I think it's safe to say those distinctions don't matter anymore lol. I was SPW and didn't get a feeler phone call.

Nah man, there's totally a point. They want to play with us just a little bit more before they pull the rug out. Realistically the only benefit of being "preferred" is we get those cool e-mails that say "preferred."

As I understand it, most of the reg WL acceptances this wave were splitters. Maybe some of them had higher LSATs than some of you on SP and P. They placed us on our respective waitlists given the very particular circumstances that defined the applicant pool at the time of placement. It only makes sense with an evolving and variable applicant pool that their preferences could change over time. They just don't have the time of day to notify us of our reordering, I imagine.

So what's with emailing some of us that we'd hear on or before "Monday, May 9" (classic copy/paste error from last year, I guess) but then not emailing or calling everyone who received that date? I'm on the PWL and very willing to wait, but why email me a specific date and then not stick to it?
