I've received numerous suspiciously positive emails from Emory this week and have yet to receive my decision.. Is anyone else in the same boat? Anyone get the "can't wait to see you" email and not get a decision yet?

Hey all, I did my undergrad at Emory and don't mind answering any questions you may have about the school or the Decatur/Atlanta area. Emory campus is pretty small so while I don't know much about the school, I can help with other questions. I didn't actually apply to Emory Law (felt the need to "get out" after spending 4 years plus a gap year working on campus) but the area in general is a pretty nice place.

I wish. To this day I'm not entirely sure how they selected Dooley or his (her, now? New president of Emory is a woman) bodyguards.S.Picquery wrote:Did you ever get to be Dooleyareyn22 wrote:Hey all, I did my undergrad at Emory and don't mind answering any questions you may have about the school or the Decatur/Atlanta area. On a completely different note, do you know of any places particularly near by the campus to live (walking distance/biking distance)? I hate having a car, but MARTA is shit for getting to Emory.

I'm curious, will they simultaneously ask for donations as an alum then offer you mad money, or do they get ya twice.cjar819 wrote:Dear Emory,

Emory's site mentions the free shuttle that goes through popular neighborhoods near campus... Is that accurate? lolareyn22 wrote:I'll PM you so I don't hijack y'alls thread! Lived most of my life in atl. If you're gonna go to Emory, a car is a real and necessary investment. Depending on publict transportation is a fools endeavor.brinicolec wrote:Emory's site mentions the free shuttle that goes through popular neighborhoods near campus...
