This year, apps opened on 15 Sep, so if they follow to the day, letters could be going out.... TODAY! Driving myself crazy with the waiting.
Were they SENT out or RECEIVED? Big difference.
I honestly don't even know how to respond to that.
Wow. Let's pretend I didn't ask.
I think what mp is saying is that if you account for the 5 day difference in when the app became available, decisions may be mailed out as early as today and received as early as Wednesday or Thursday of this week. Fingers crossed!!
I understand, I just completely skipped over the stuff in the parenthesis. No wonder I didn't get a 180.
None of us got the 180 we wanted lol. STILL STOKED FOR THIS WEEK THOUGH

Could they be trying to prevent us from finding out about our acceptances until the letter arrives? The fact that they shut it down today, and this corresponds with the time that they usually send out the first batch of acceptances is interesting.

Does anyone know how long it would take to get my ED decision if I went complete last Wednesday? I know its 3 weeks from then but does it usually take the full 3 weeks?

I think that is the case. The same thing happened in last year's thread I believe on 10/14 or 10/15. So looks like good news.

I applied ED too and my app went complete around the same time as you. Not sure if it'll take longer for us but I don't imagine why it would. ED is supposed to give an edge over RD so, in my mind, it makes sense if they're letting RD applicants know then they would have made the decision on ED applicants as well.
For what it's worth, I'm glad I'm not the only one semi-neurotically obsessing over this haha.

I think from past years the first day of letters pretty much only reached the DC area. And with how slow the mail is here I would be shocked if they managed to get it to us the next day after being sent out

Yea I'm guessing tomorrow would be the earliest. If I remember correctly last year's thread the letter was postmarked Oct 13 but the earliest person to post was Oct 15?
Either way the suspense is killing me and slowly but surely turning me into an alcoholic.

Damn back at it again with the unfortunate facts. But yeah I think that's most likely. And being on the west coast I don't expect anything till at least Saturday. And yeah I been drinking more than usual since turning in apps lol. This is worse than waiting for grey day.
Side note - anyone know if Georgetown is splitter friendly or if they're more into high GPA?

They tend to be pretty splitter friendly if your LSAT is north of 170 (possibly 169/168)

Just received an invite to participate in an alumni interview in my area, but unfortunately had to decline due to time and traveling restraints. Does anyone have any insight into what this says about my status as an applicant?
