Sounds like if I was not admitted at the end of the interview, they must be on the fence.

this is definitely not necessarily true! my understanding is that only faulk can admit people at the end of the call, given that he is the dean. for everyone else, you're moved to a final review of your application including the rest of the committee/faulk, at which point your interviewer can vouch for you. i was admitted at the end of the day after my morning interview via phone call, and my status checker had been updated an hour or so before the phone call.

I wouldn't get bummed out. I think the vast majority of applicants won't get contacted for interviews.

I was accepted. Not binding. My 1st deposit is 4/18, second 6/1.

Mine says that too. No idea what it means, but I assumed it's not applicable to me since I'm out of undergrad.
