Last year on May 2nd there were 547 people in the group. We're not exactly at that time yet, but it's usually lower around this time of year and then ends in the 700's.

Do we know when the first JS2s went out (including to those who already interviewed)? Do you guys think things will be more delayed than usual given that the waitlist email said "We will begin to review the waitlist in late May"?

Last year looked like:
First WL JS1s reported May 7th
(No JS1bs except for international)
First JS2s reported May 20th
First dings reported June 18

Previous year was:
First WL JS1s reported May 6th.
First JS1bs reported May 13th
First JS2s reported May 15th (went to both those with JS1bs on the 13th and those with post-WL JS1s)
First dings reported June 17th

Playing around with some numbers. Obviously the data is incomplete, but I thought it might be interesting to see. Especially since we haven't figured out our own spreadsheet!

On LSN:
- 66 currently on the waitlist (this includes 10 who withdrew - without them, 75% LSAT is 172)

• Median LSAT - 170 (25th/75th: 168, 173)
  Median GPA - 3.76 (25th/75th: 3.67, 3.9)

- 67 accepted (including 14 who withdrew)

• Median LSAT - 174 (25th/75th: 171, 176)
  Median GPA - 3.85 (25th/75th: 3.78, 3.96)

Using the spreadsheet from the applicants thread:
- 25 on the waitlist

• Median LSAT - 172 (25th/75th: 170, 174)
  Median GPA - 3.71 (25th/75th: 3.64, 3.81)

- 145 accepted

• Median LSAT - 174 (25th/75th: 171, 176)
  Median GPA - 3.89 (25th/75th: 3.82, 3.96)

Based on the info. from the past two years, JS1s started about 2-3 work days after the May 1st deadline. So, yes, I think it's a good bet that the first wave will start this week (likely tomorrow.)

I was wondering how much LSAT/GPA matter in the waitlist. Would other factors such as work experience, background, and other soft qualities matter more now?
