Same here, surprised at how high the scholarship was off the wait list. The e-mail I got said 20 people were offered off the list, I'm not accepting mine so hopefully it will open it up for someone else soon.EastCoastICU wrote:Got off the waitlist with 70% scholarship. Very pleased

Check out the NY Times article today on the pressures facing Minnesota Law. Shrinking enrollment and sharp reduction in applications. Current Dean is leaving.

Re: Minnesota C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
Anyone think it might be worth throwing my app in after the upcoming June LSAT? I figured MN Law was in a dire situation when they emailed me a few days ago suggesting I do so. I am PT'ing around 164 and my GPA is 3.6. I spent the past couple of years working as a paralegal in DC BigLaw. This solidified my interest in law school but I was planning to wait until next cycle to get all my app materials together. Figured applying this late was a joke but now it's looking like it could pan out...

Maybe it couldn't hurt, but if you're willing to wait out the cycle and get your apps in early for the Class of 2020, it could pay back huge in scholarship offers. If merit aid isn't that important to you though, you might as well submit now and see.trueblue92 wrote:Anyone think it might be worth throwing my app in after the upcoming June LSAT? I think I might go for it (pending June 2016 score). It's fine to apply again next cycle if it doesn't work out right? That's what I was planning on doing anyway. I'm already living in Minneapolis which is why this is so very tempting.
Edit: Minneapolis is absolute perfection (in the spring/summer) if anyone was wondering. Let me know if you have any questions!

Been on the waitlist since 3/28...sent LOCI in early April. Planning on visiting next week but not sure...can people who were admitted off the waitlist share some insights? What did you do besides LOCI? Do you guys think meetings with admission office really make a significant difference? Thanks!!
