If you are looking to receive that info before the deposit deadline I wouldn't count on it. Even when people will start withdrawing with money I am not sure what incentive they have to give money to people who, by then, already committed to attending. If anything, they are most likely to give that money to late applicants who are competitive. So most likely things on the scholarship front will stay the same and I wouldn't make my decision banking on more money coming in.

That's what I was leaning towards. Just withdrew (without money) so hopefully someone willing to pay sticker gets a spot! Best of luck.

My "in review" date changed, but the status itself has not. Did this happen to anybody else? How long after that date change did you hear about if you were accepted or not?
THANKS!!
THANKS!!

When is the deposit deadline? My admission letter mentions nothing about it and the admission staff hasn't responded since I asked about it.Shootin wrote:tuesdayninja wrote:Anyone on the so called scholarship waitlist receive any news about scholarship?

i am from California so it will be a big change for me as well. It was one of my top 3 but after visiting the city and looking at all of my offers Iowa was clearly my best option lol. Was it your first choice? Have you visited?

The change to Iowa City from where we are originally from will be drastic, I imagine. It was not my top choice. I actually knew very little when I applied, but now I see it is a great school and I am very happy with my choice. I actually visit next week for a personal tour and the open house event!

Yes especially the winters! And that is very exciting. Let me know your thoughts on the law school, I did not actually get to tour it from the inside which was rather unfortunate. I hope you enjoy your trip though!

Re: Iowa Class of 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I hear too many people deposited. And given their new t20 status I am guessing that is why more people deposited than they originally expected. Might not be an ideal year to be WL.DareDreamer23 wrote:I'm waitlisted and Iowa is my top choice! Hopefully this helps me out!yenisey wrote:Withdraw just now.
