No issues with commuting. A lot of students do it. Some travel further than that on the T. Some drive. If it is cheaper, definitely do it. Parking might be a bit of a hassle though.

Thanks for your response! It's comforting to hear that commuting's considered normal. Does it effect your social life?

Not really-- it all depends on how willing you are to make the effort to go where people are meeting. You'll make friends in class and as long as you don't just sit at home, you'll be fine.

Abroad admitted via e-mail, submitted around second week of November.

Really nice of them scan the letter and send the attachments in the email.
