Did anyone else get the email about the TI:GER program? And if you did do you think it's hinting at a possible acceptance?

I hope so :)

Got the email; just like earlier one, I think it's generic. Who knows!

I haven't gotten that yet either - but I'd guess it's more likely to be based on what areas of law you selected as being interested in.

yep that's my thought process too. but still, doesn't make a whole lot of sense to be emailing all applicants about a particular program unless it's like super renowned or brand new. but what do i know haha

Yeah definitely weird, although I didn't indicate anywhere in LSAC or on my app that I'm interested in technology and science, I did however take about 20 credit hours of science in undergrad.

Applied 1/18
Complete email 1/19
email 1/22 subject: "Emory Law: Letters mailing soon" (I'm assuming that went out to every one who applied)
So how long should I expect to wait? At least til mid-late Feb?

I would think they will start mailing out acceptances next week. This year Emory (and everyone else) has been unusually slow. I think that with the date that you went complete, and assuming you don't have extremely good stats or are a URM, you will probably hear by the end of February. But who knows how Emory is going through their applications, with my luck, you will be accepted before me and I applied back in September.

Looks like some international students have started to be admitted, according to LSN.

That's what I figured. End of Feb or March isn't too bad. I'm not URM nor do I have extremely good stats (reverse splitter). I'll keep waiting. I can't imagine waiting 4 months!

Yeah, 4 months is a long time, but it won't matter as soon as I receive that acceptance letter.

I really think this upcoming week is the week for decisions (for those of us who applied a while ago).

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

I wouldnt worry too much, guys. Emory isnt really much of a rolling admissions type school. For the most part, the committee lets everyone in about the same time (rumor is next week or the following week). One of my friends applied ED and was an undergrad here and only found out Thursday, so it really is just going pretty slowly.

So do you think those of us who applied later but have a more median LSAT and GPA aren't at a disadvantage because of the late app since they aren't rolling?

It seems like if their admissions aren't rolling then no one is at a disadvantage as long as they apply and go complete before the first large wave of acceptances. Assuming that the admissions committee has enough time to review the application before the first wave of acceptances.
