Thanks for the updates, everyone! I'm still on the waitlist, and am committed to sending only what I've already sent out (targeted LoR, LOCI). Any updates on the FB group? It seems that we are at the same number that last year's thread was as it neared its conclusion, but at a much earlier time. I'll remain on the waitlist, although I'm really hoping to hear good news once the June LSAT scores are released. I wish Stanford were a little more transparent with their waitlist. Granted, you know what you sign up for when you remain on a waitlist, but it would still be very comforting to receive sporadic (I'm talking about month-long intervals) information about the waitlist and movement, instead of having to use the limited information available the internet to surmise the situation. :p

I've been a longtime lurker, but decided to join to say that I've withdrawn, so best of luck to those who remain. Also, fwiw, at the beginning of the waitlist season I heard that it was a pretty normal year at Stanford, in that they were about 40 short of the desired class size.

While there are probably some incoming law students who are not on FB, there are definitely still people in the group who have deposited elsewhere.

There are 6 people in the group that I know are enrolling at YLS in the fall (and they show up in the Yale directory as incoming law students), and there are also 2 people who have had HLS on their FBs for a while now. Not sure how these 8 managed to stay in the group.

Most of the people in the SLS group (including recent additions) are listed as incoming law students in the Stanford directory. I randomly sampled some of the names, and there are several people in the FB group who are not listed (and they have been in the group for a few months). I presume that this could be due to a number of factors: the FB name doesn't match exactly, etc. But some may have deposited elsewhere or deferred.

There are also at least 2 current students in the group, and of course, the SLS administrative account is also in the group.

So, as far as I can tell, at least 11 of the 169 are not in the incoming class.

Only on Stanford's waitlist. I withdrew from all other schools. I'm thinking until the first week of August (which is when they start sending rejections, I think lol). I see that some people from the thread were admitted, though. Previously there was only one WL -- > Admit, so congrats to those new admits!
