Just got another call from the admissions office... The woman I spoke to said that they have some spaces available and she asked me again what my level of dedication was to Georgetown. She said that I should be looking for an email in the next couple of days! So don't give up everyone! I will update when I have new information!

Well, it's still early. We have all day for the email to come out.
How long are you guys planning on staying on the waitlist? For me, it's only until early July. I have to end up signing a lease.

Lease and classes start with orientation in early August. School doesn't start in September like normal Fall semesters

Rejected would mean they didn't make in on their initial app
Waitlisted W is someone who made the WL, and then decided to get off of it themselves

things get crazy in early to mid July, still a bit crazy the end of July, and most hope is given up by early August.

I guess I'll stay on until the end of July. Anyone here get rejected today?

I dont think anyone on the WL gets "rejected". I think everyone just stays on until there are no more spots left and the last August e-mail comes out saying we're all full (in which case its one mass rejection).

Kind of. In last year's thread starting in July people started to get rejected. Not many, but it happened.

Hey! Long-time lurker first-time poster here. I was originally on the regular waitlist but got the preferred waitlist email on Friday (saying the class is full, few new spaces, etc.)

I was wondering if this happened to anyone else? Did I get moved to the preferred waitlist or is it a fluke? I did send a LOCI...
