Ikr. One of the appealing factors of UI law was the small class size.Sunshine619 wrote:Wow 40 more people than expected? Jeez. I enrolled but man that is frightening.

I'm sure that number will dwindle over the next few months, they seemed pretty confident about that but definitely made me lose hope as a non-resident riding out the waitlist.asb12345 wrote:Ikr. Withdrew with a full tuition scholarship. Good luck to those still waiting or hoping for more money!

DaRascal decided to not be Iowa bound. I guess no poker tourneys in the library...damnit.
Excited to meet everybody though--officially matriculated now.

Any chance Iowa is still accepting students for the fall? I sent in a late application last week and was wondering what my chances are. Also, if they do accept more students, do you think there would be any scholarship money left?

Sorry this reply is so late...for what it's worth, the admissions office told me and some others have posted here about it that their enrollment numbers exceeded their expectations so probably not very likely--go for next cycle!nickt92 wrote:Any chance Iowa is still accepting students for the fall? Edit: Forgot to add that I was also told by admissions that all their scholarship money for this cycle has been committed and there is no room for increases. Could have just been how they rejected my request for an increase haha, but for what it's worth.

I don't see the numbers going down either. I think there is about 130ish ppl in the FB group (if I recall. Could be wrong). We can assume there is at least 20+ more people since not everyone uses facebook.midwestlawl wrote: Sorry this reply is so late...for what it's worth, the admissions office told me and some others have posted here about it that their enrollment numbers exceeded their expectations so probably not very likely--go for next cycle!
My question is how much of a drop will there be come Aug.
