I know I won't get a lot of cash, probably not even a little bit. But I do know someone who didn't even get into UM last year with a 170 (int'l student as well), and someone with a 171 got in, but with only 30k scholarship. So even if I don't ED, the best result would be me getting in without money. Given that, I might just as well ED..

Binding ED to pay 300k to a school with a ~50% chance of biglaw/Fed clerk does not seem like a good decision

I wish we had our process like the NFL draft. Do all your stuff before a universal deadline.

One weekend and people know all their decisions over a span of three days.

Day 1 : $$$ Scholly Accepts
Day 2 : $ Accepts
Day 3 : Accepts

Undrafted WLs

According to the T50 First Acceptances thread, someone got in last year on Friday, November 1st. So, maybe the first wave will go out this Friday?

Submitted last Thursday, received status checker today. Quick turnaround, which is awesome. Seems like almost everyone has moved pretty quickly. Hope this means a decision won't be too far behind the first admits!

Received my online status checker earlier today! But it says "Regular Decision" instead of "Early Decision"... I shouldn't be worried too much through right? Since they made it clear that nothing was for certain correct until the profile had been updated as "Complete".. Just to make sure, should I ask them about this?

From Michigan's email: " please don’t be concerned when you see that some information on the status checker is missing or, in some rare cases, even incorrect. As our data-entry process proceeds, all of that will get rectified."

So I would say, just wait!

Good. I was going through some profiles on LSN,and found out that most people who submitted their applications late October last year got the results in late November. So I guess we would be able to know the results by the end of Nov huh? (This whole waiting-for-the-admission-result thing is so much more torturing than LSAT score waiting...)

Late like 11 pm-ish on 10/22 so for all practical purposes 10/23

Mich might hand out decisions tomorrow. Just an educated guess from last cycle (Friday 11/1)

Having submitted most apps in late Aug-early September, at this point Chinese Water Torture > The Wait

I seriously need to do something to keep me from checking status checker ten times a day.

Tell me about it. I have had a mostly one-way relationship with the status checkers and my email inbox. :/

Just been refreshing the magical Michigan checker the whole time.. Probably 15 more days' torture.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
