i got one with way under a 3.7. I feel like they are plugging numbers into some kind of formula to account for splitters. they probably feel like a 3.6 176 would want to go somewhere higher ranked.rebexness wrote:aibohphobia wrote:Anyone know how indicative a lack of PT invite is for Duke admissions chances? I didn't see anyone get a PT invite under 3.7
I think they are CRS generated and not generally indicative except that it means you are at least 3.7/168.
Not bitter though.

I can't find it now, but reading through one of the instructions, it seemed to suggest we only get a provision acceptance in 10 days for priority track, pending an interview. Do these provisional acceptances get resolved pretty quickly or do they tend to drag out.

I thought they had it in prior years as well. Unless you mean the whole provisional acceptance thing. That would certainly explain how I got PT with mediocre numbers.

Just got a fee waiver but no priority track invitation. I'm not sure what that says about my admission chances.
I'm just going to try to write a killer "Why Duke" essay.

I hope so. I keep zoning out at work and every time I look at my computer screen, I'm somehow on the Duke status checker again.MidwestLifer wrote:Yeah good luck to both of you! I'm pegging tomorrow as the time we start getting decisions.
