I heard they only select certain applicants to interview? Are there any threads on here that give advice on what to expect from the interview?

I don't think it would be badsmiles123 wrote:Did anyone write a "Why Cornell" essay and add it as an addendum? I know they specifically ask for this in the application in 2-3 sentences. Would it be detrimental to say, please see addendum, and elaborate more in an attached document?
Cornell is currently my top choice. Numbers are at 75% gpa and 25%<Lsat<50% for reference and I will be retaking in December to hopefully raise that LSAT.

I'm a current graduate student at Cornell and I can say that although I wouldn't want to live in Ithaca for the rest of my life, it's been an amazing place for my studies. Because it's about four hours from anywhere else Cornell has developed a very unique culture that I found is far more relaxed than other top schools. The cost of living is also amazing compared to all the other highly ranked programs, which really helps the bottom line.

The last one was before I got here in the spring of 2010.
