so was anyone admitted earlier this week? I know they told some people about seats opening up.

I know someone who was admitted last week. Their numbers went up quite a bit after the June LSAT, they would have been admitted if they applied earlier with those numbers. And yes...they will be attending. They also went in and talked to them to show their interest. It seemed to work. They are also an IP person, Im not sure if that made a difference.

You should check your spam. if not its probably a good sign for you because GW has been sending two separate emails to different groups. They apparently sent an email to some people last week letting them know that seats were available this week and they were making offers. so you might just be part of that group.

I would kinda hope they got their acceptances out of the way before crushing everyone elses dreams with the "there's not spots even though we said publicly on twitter there would be" email.

Did GW release any one from its waitlist at all ever this cycle? And if not, why not cull the herd as the weeks go by?

It is just wierd. I saw many people who withdrew their admission at LSN, but ... why no seat?

As you probably are aware, our third and final seat deposit deadline for students admitted to the fall 2014 class was last week. As of now, we write to let you know that it appears very unlikely that additional seats will open for this year's entering class. We share this news with you so that you may proceed with finalizing other plans, if you have not done so already. Should a seat become available -- again, this is not our expectation -- we will let you know.
We have sincerely appreciated your patience during the admissions process. We will provide you with a final update by August 15. Until then, please let us know if there is anything you need. We are glad to help.

Just got the final email saying no more space. I thought a four point June LSAT bump would do it, but not this cycle.

It's kinda funny how much I used to be in denial about a lot of TLS advice, and now here I am retaking and reapplying like a good little TLSer, rather than just going to the best school that accepted me with my original numbers.
