Okay, so May 17th was the double deposit deadline......

The admitted student's site says that UVA reserves the right to withdraw offers of admission to any admitted student who is found to have deposited at another law school after May 17, so hopefully a few double dippers will be purged from the admitted students list this week, so the rest of us have a shot.

Do you guys and gals think this will affect the waitlist?

For all our sake's, I hope that some sneaky snake, who deposited at UVA and Columbia/Penn/Harvard/Chicago/NYU gets caught, so a few seats will open up for us poor souls, who are waiting in earnest for a small taste of glory (aka "getting admitted off the waitlist).

How long ago was this? I ask because Anne Richard is no longer Dean of the law school. That title belongs to Cordel Faulk. Therefore, I am hesitant to take into consideration anything you heard from Anne Richard. Thanks for sharing though.

In all seriousness though, UVA deserves big thumbs up for the weekly update. Even though they haven't had news (yet), it fucking rocks that they are actually reaching out and updating us. EVEN IF nobody gets in off the waitlist, they went about it in an awesome way.

Frankly, the waitlist updates just don't move my needle this late in the race. But that's cool if you're a fan.

No day but today, you need to get your facts strait. Cordel Faulk is the head of admissions for UVA law school and the interim assistant dean of admission. Anne Richard is not even employed by UVA anymore. If you don't believe me, then check her profile page on UVA's website. It has been deactivated. Also, check the official UVA Twitter feed, and you will see that Cordel is in fact the "new Dean" of the law school. I am not "concerned" about this. I just don't appreciate trolls/uniformed people/arm chair quarterbacks. It's people like you that keep any of us from getting our "hopes up." Thanks for brightening my day with your pessimism. I really appreciate it. Some of us would like to still hold out hope.
