I got that email as well this morning. I am on the regular waitlist and haven't sent them anything since the waitlist notification. FYI

So, is there anyone who HAS sent some additional materials post-WL gotten today's email? I'd love to know if my heart rate can return to normal or if I need to keep stressing.

They've made it known they prefer to have an idea of whether or not you certainly would attend if admitted. This latest wave seems like them reaching out to people whom they haven't heard from, or are uncertain of their intentions.

Keep the faith, team no-contact.

This seems pretty likely. I didn't get this recent update, but I also sent an LOCI indicating that I would attend if offered.

Not too shocking they would be in touch more with PWL and people they have recently interviewed.

That said, if you've already told them you would accept if offered or have visited and said something similar they have no real reason to reach out again and ask, except if they thought you were lying the first time, before the time that they said they would update you.

I got the email, and I've sent a LOCI, but I definitely didn't say I would go if admitted.

Got the email today. A little concerned about the "little merit aid" comment in the email. I'm thinking of writing back something like "Hey I'd really like to go but here's where I've deposited (another T14) and here's the money I've gotten, if you guys can do something in the area of what the other school did I'd definitely be interested".

Would that sort of honesty play at all?

Also PWL, didn't get the e-mail. I've sent in two LOCIs, but regardless I'm a little upset...I wish they'd just tell us what's going on.

I don't mean to break anyone's spirits, but I sent a LOCI immediately after being waitlisted, then again after the update a couple of weeks ago with an updated transcript, then received the email today which I followed up with another as requested. In every LOCI I've sent I've said that I will absolutely attend. If they sent it because they are uncertain I would be very surprised.

I would wait until I was officially in; they probably would pass up on someone whose attendance is contingent on financial aid at this point.

I got the email folks are talking about today after sending a LOCI in after being put on WL as well as a followup email last week. I didn't explicitly say I would 100% go if admitted in my LOCI, but I felt I was pretty clear.

I just got an email today with an invitation to do a group interview. This is the first communication since I got put on the PWL in February. I did not send a LOCI.

Is there a good resource on TLS forums other than the general gtown thread for more information about the group interviews?

Anyone have any thoughts on whether word of admittance off of the waitlist will come via email or snail mail (as it was for regular admitees)?

Any status updates?
A couple of people on the WL over on the "GULC c/o of 2017 thread" had updates today.
I have not.

It has been awhile since I have checked my status checker, but was the "mailings" area always blank?

Any decisions off the WL? I know they mentioned May 9th.

I received the e-mail asking about my level of interest and saying they hope to have good news for me soon. In that e-mail they said they'd let me know by Monday at the latest. I'm expecting to hear today/tomorrow so I'm crazily checking my e-mail/status checker but there are no changes as of yet.
