Congrats to everyone. It seems like they are pretty generous with full scholarships. Is this something they do every cycle?

It seems like it. The line seems to be any 165+ would give you a full or slightly (but definitely) above both medians (something like 162/3.7+). They're very generous and willing to negotiate, too.Savage13 wrote:Congrats to everyone. It seems like they are pretty generous with full scholarships. Is this something they do every cycle?

I have a 161 3.8 and got a full ride.
They said that you can get up to $100 stipend if you are inside Arizona for ASW, I'm not sure about out of state.

Re: University of Arizona C/O 2017 (2013-2014 cycle)
Hello everyone (newbie here)
Due to a number of personal concerns, my decision to apply for law schools is a late one (just applying presently). I contacted the office at Arizona and the dean strongly encouraged me to apply nonetheless. I've been trying to gauge the likelihood of receiving some form of tuition reduction with a 3.0 and a 168.
Any thoughts? I know the GPA is low.

I have a full ride wit ha 3.3/172. I'd say the GPA won't matter much.

I have a full ride with around 2.5 GPA, though my LSAT is a little bit higher. I'd be willing to bet your numbers get you a full ride as well.jsanner2 wrote:Hello everyone (newbie here)

Thanks all, that seems very encouraging. When is the deposit date? I'm wondering if they'll get back to me soon enough.
Also, for anyone living in Tucson, how's the cost/quality of living for students?

Cost of living is really low. I also think the quality of living is pretty high as long as you stay north of broadway. Despite what people say Tucson is a great city. It may have a million people but it feels much smaller. It really has everything, deserts if youre in the city but a quick drive up mt.lemmon and youre in pine trees and snow. Plus its a top 12 city for biking.jsanner2 wrote:Thanks all, that seems very encouraging. When is the deposit date? I'm wondering if they'll get back to me soon enough.
