I believe that is a good conclusion to make. I called the admissions office and they said that they sent out some offers last week and will be in touch as they get responses.

I can only assume that they will send out more offers if someone drops out or a waitlister denies the offer.

I'd like to think this is not the end, as GMU is my first choice... Pech, did you get the impression that the "some offers" they made last week were about 10-20, the range they mentioned in May?
