Congrats! Would you mind find the google doc link I posted above and fill out your info? Just trying to get a big picture for all applicants. Thanks and congrats again!

If anyone is curious, I believe the scholarships work this way:

Sumner's (Full ride) - Top 1/3 requirement
35k - Top 1/3 requirement
30k - Good standing
24k - Good standing
Smaller scholarships

A good portion of the class will have a scholarship. You probably can't pick and choose between the 30k and 35k. I know some people in my class had a 30k, didn't respond or have any communication, and SMU upgraded them to 35k with the 1/3 requirement when the start of school neared. They weren't really too excited about it because the 5k arguably isn't worth it.

top 1/3 stip..that's harsh.

how much will you lose if you drop out of top 1/3?

hey guys feel free to add your stats/status to this google doc. I'm trying to create a master spreadsheet that shows big picture to all applicants. if SMU doesn't publish Median next year...we will do it..
I just wanted to bump this to the top so if anything comes in this week, even though its a holiday week, people can add their information. Also if anyone is seeing this that hasn't already filled this out, please do.

guys,

i think April 1st as first deposit deadline is a bit early (from a list i found most school has a first deposit deadline on April 15th)...what do you think?..coz other school might still be accepting people until April 15th. Fool's day is not a good date..too early?.

I'd put money on a round of decisions going out sometime in the next week or so.

I just wanted to post to give everyone an anxiety attack from getting an email about an update to this thread. Or am I the only one that has that reaction?

But seriously, any changes for anyone? I'm convinced there will be acceptances going out today or tomorrow.

I really hope you are right...Going on almost 3 months complete with total silence. I would love Dallas to become an option for me. Does anyone want to call and ask when their next batch of decisions will be coming out? I'm too chicken to do it lolol

Don't be a chicken! You can word it in a way that isn't pushy.... ex: "Hi I was just calling to see the turn around time for someone who submitted in Sept (oct?)...I know you have rolling admissions and just wanted to confirm that everything was okay with my file since I have been submitted for a while... "

I'm a pro at this.

Same here. Complete since 9/18 with no movement since then. Woof.

Finals wrap up today (they started early this year relative to Thanksgiving). Surely the AdComm will take some actions before they disperse for the holidays.
