I know LSN says it does not look like I'd have any chance, but it's still hard to completely write it off when my numbers are in the ballpark.
I would consider a 10-20% percent chance "worth it," would I maybe be in that range or not? Appreciate any thoughts!
did you try to solicit a fee waiver?
but otherwise a 10-20% chance isn't all that bad, and Berkeley seems to be the most committed to this "holistic review" everyone talks about.
Your softs might push you into the accept or wl pile.
I thought Berkeley didn't do merit waivers?
I got a fee waiver, but you're right it was probably for americorps service and not merit based
I sent the same email to all schools which included proof of service and gpa/lsat.

The start of October. Berk is one of only two apps I paid for. It's pretty much going to be a ding, but I had to know for sure.

So then, which schools are your T5? I saw that it was UCLA that gave you the go ahead! I'm hoping to get in at Berkeley: LSAT>75% GPA=Median. But you never know with their admissions process...

I don't really have a T5, and it seems like you have better stats than me. I would pay sticker at berk. Besides that, I'm going to pick my school based on employment stats and debt. I'm 100% indifferent to location of the law school, so everyone had a horse in the race right now.

Sometimes I come around these parts looking for a bit of hope, then I remember, humor > optimism.
Keep up the good work, TLSers.

Applied yesterday!
Probably my top choice after Michigan ED. I've heard they get back pretty quickly so maybe December? My application is already complete

Good luck to all still pending!

Yeah, I messaged my aunt that I was under review.
Her response: "So... more waiting?"
Me: "Yeah."
Aunt: "How is that different from before?"
Me:"Oh...Yeah..."
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
