Your numbers aren't auto-admit but they're certainly not auto-ding. If I had to predict your cycle, I'd guess that you're gonna be admitted directly (hopefully =]) or WUSTL will hold off on making a decision about you until they see what their yield rate is for the earlier admits (presumably the ones with higher LSATs). But either way, considering WUSTL's yield problem and your numbers...I would be surprised if you ended up being ding-ed outright.a2blifeUIUC wrote:I've been complete since mid-September, and while I don't quite have auto-admit numbers, I'm sure hoping that I fall into this category of accepted without online indication.Crowing wrote:I was admitted via snail mail today - I was not asked to interview.
I live about 20 minutes from the WUSTL campus, so I'm sure there are many of you with acceptances en route!
Has anyone else received notice without an interview?
Also, i'm not sure if this actually matters, but the Ph.D/J.D aspect of your application might influence the timing and progress of your review. Maybe they do admissions in conjunction with the philosophy dept so that they can give you a decision on both programs at the same time? I know that traditionally students apply to both programs separately, but I would be surprised if the law school and graduate school didn't communicate AT ALL about your joint application. I feel like there HAS to be SOME kind of communication between the two adcomms
