I say it because it's true. The people that are going on PFCD are the people who are getting passed by. We did not make the first cut. You got an alumni call so I would imagine that you will be fine. They cared enough to reach out to you.

When I can bring myself to pull my head out of the oven I will do a study on how many PFCD people got in last year. I imagine it will be bleak at best.

But all the person said above was that there is an admitted student day 3/1? I was complete 1/10 and PFCD 1/16. I really doubt that my hold took 6 days when LSN has people with my stats already accepted and I have 8.5+ years WE and a grad degree from a T14 school. I think you are psyching yourself out.

I agree. Look at the positives. You are just below the median for GPA and LSAT. You may not be an auto admit because neither of your numbers boost their averages but you're in the hunt. Factor in the ridiculous drop in applications this cycle and you're chances improve even more. Have faith.

I fixed the quote mistake. I said that because she didn't believe me when I told her that she didn't go PFCD because she was being admitted soon. Michael is probably not far behind.

I'm seeing a few applicants on LSN who got in with lower stats than I have. If they string me along again this year I'm just going to Cumberland. UA doesn't deserve half their applicants if they keep up this foolishness. Good luck all.

Yea guys if you look a few posts back I was concerned because I hadn't had an update.. 2012 thought it was because I was in. And today I got the call!

So pfcd is probably not the kiss of death but it may mean a little while longer..

For what it's worth I have 164/3.89 and some decent sorts.

I seriously am so torn now and waiting for $ info. I'm crossing my finger for y'all!!!

I'm assuming they are now trying to shape up the class and create diversity. I saw where a 151 was accepted today. I'm still undecided on what PFCD means.. but I know that it stretches across the board as far as numbers go. I'm about to ask the 151 if she got PCFD. I check m status checker multiple times a day.. I will be so glad when I have all of my decisions!

I am surprised, however, they gave you a courtesy call so you are not a regular PFCD person. I think I remember Tei getting a courtesy call too and he/she is PFCD.

I still stand by my prediction. Assuming you both are not hiding some kind of C&F issue, I will eat my birkenstocks with hot sauce if you both are not rescued...soon, if not in the next wave. (I'm serious.)

Should I let UA law know about my other offers or just wait? I suppose I could let them know closer to the dates of required seat deposits at my backup schools. Do you think it will matter to them? I tend to think they could care less about my law school search and more about their own timeline for recruiting top LSAT scorers.

I don't think it would benefit you to tell them about other offers. I think the only reason you would is if you are negotiating, and I think its a given that we will be paying sticker. If anything, it could hurt you.

You can, though, start thinking of ways to improve your file. If you can think of someone else who would be great for another recommendation or another volunteer position/ achievement you can obtain, you could add those to an updated resume if/when you send a LOCI. Speaking of LOCIs, go ahead and start working on one. The better it is, the better the chances that it will make an impact.

Bottom line, when shit starts getting real and deposits start coming up, I am just going to proceed as if I was WL. I will go ahead and pick my second choice and start the transition process. If the call comes, I will drop everything and go.
